LifeWatch ("we", "our", or "the app") is a life-countdown app that helps you visualize your remaining lifespan. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.
LifeWatch requests read-only access to the following data from Apple Health (HealthKit), with your explicit permission:

All data is stored locally on your device. LifeWatch does not have a server, does not use a backend, and does not transmit any personal data over the internet.
Data is shared between the main app and its home screen widget using Apple's App Groups mechanism — this sharing occurs entirely on-device.
LifeWatch uses Apple's HealthKit framework to read step count data. This data is never sold, disclosed to third parties, or used for advertising. We comply with Apple's HealthKit developer guidelines.
LifeWatch does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The app does not contain any features directed at children.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
